The Wisconsin Dual Sport Riders (WDSR) is excited for the March 1st launch of our new Citizenship Award. WDSR has been active within the Wabeno and Laona communities since our first dual sport event in 2001. Our club motto is: Building community goodwill through motorcycling.
We are grateful for the opportunity to come to the Wisconsin Northwoods and support the area by hosting two AMA National motorcycle events annually. As an extension of our mission, we developed a Citizenship Award to recognize Wabeno and Laona high school youth who are making a difference in their high school and/or community through selfless acts. Specifically, we want to highlight how the student showed leadership in implementing a change within their school and/or community within the prior year that made a positive impact to their fellow students and/or town residents. So if you know of a deserving current student of WHS and LHS, please have them access the application on the school’s scholarship website.
